The night is for sharing

You know how they say the sky reflects the sea which is why the sky is blue? Well, it seems this holds true even at night.

There is a full moon tonight and it is lovely and bright and it is not alone. The moon has the stars dancing all around it (similar to fish swimming ‘round corals or a wreck almost). I spotted Orion’s belt not too far from good old Luna; it was hard to miss even with the cirrocumulus clouds looming all over. I do think it adds to the reflected sea-like appearance of tonight’s mystical skies.

The clouds look almost like the cascading waves or the rippling sands of the beach (a place we both miss). The sky might not be the beach you have been missing, but you like the evening almost as much as I do, so I’m guessing you would love the parallelisms somehow. There is a certain magic that exists by the sea, and another in the sky.

If you see this, I hope you look up and see and experience the same wonder and awe I have felt this evening.
